Synopsis:

Arriving in Toronto from Northern Iran, 19 year-old Pedram Abasi embarks on a journey to learn a new language and culture.

While making great progress to the delight of his Aunt and Uncle who have taken him in, Pedram’s life drastically changes course when he meets Nima and Chrissy who introduce him to a world of all night raves, promiscuous sex, and taking X till sunrise.

Before long, Pedram’s family begins to resent his irresponsible ways and regret ever taking him in. With his education in peril and his life on a downward spiral, Pedram must now regain control before all hope is lost.

Derrick henry got his start in the colorado music scene in 2006 at the age of 19.
“it was at rock island of all places.” he remembers, “they told me i was the youngest
person in denver to have a weekly residency.It was a trip, i was hearing my name on
the radio and i had my own flier” he began waiting tables to pay for studio equipment
to begin his role as a producer. he began sending tracks overseas and to dave dresden,
which landed him opportunities to do remixes for, tiesto, cosmic gate, as well as
gabriel and dresden. “gabriel and dresden are hands down my biggest influence. Techno Music

was likewinning the lottery” With deep, moody, etheral breakdowns contrasted by big-room gritty
electro synths, Derrick henry beganto shape his musical style. “i go off of the classical music
format, the introduction of the theme, the variant of the theme and the recapitulation of the theme…
the concept is actually simple, but the execution is staggering and almost painful. you have to
take this entire symphony and then have to layer it over the electro track you just made.i felt
like i was banging my head against the wall sometimes.” over the years, he began making his way
around the denver scene. Techno Music “the church, beta, blue ice, wicked garden and my new residency with keoki
at japoix… thats it i think. justin (dj soul rebel) and i used to run the sunday nights at the
toad tavern in littleton. but, i dont know if that counts as denver, we are still pretty small fish
locally.”

After years in the scene, searching for new beats and sounds, DJ Luar|Ojo Fatuo has presented his CD, “Elektronika 2002” as well as other astounding feats. Pushing the limits of techno beyond the variant, DJ Luar is generating a musical portrait at a world-wide level. After conquering the Venezuelan scene and most of Europe, DJ Luar began his state-side series of presentations in Colorado in December of 2000, at venues such as “The Roots on the Hill”, “Seville” and “Sanctuary”. In addition, DJ Luar has produced television commercials with Etheron TV Services (Cisneros Corp.), performed in concerts such as the “Pop & Rock Festival”, Athenian Art Complex and Pirelli Hall in Caracas, Venezuela. To top it off, his skills have led him to the Big Screen, creating soundtracks for films “Three Monkeys” by Carmen L’Roche, participation in “The Incredible Kidnapping of a President” and short film “The Last Frankenstein”.
